Apapa Amusement Park

A journey that was started in March 2008, was consummated in July 2013 when the administration of Governor Fashola of Lagos State, in his government’s desire in promoting private sector participation in the establishment and management of Recreational Facilities in the State, entered into a Public Private Partnership (PPP) with a consortium between NARS Limited, Nigeria and Al-Inmaa Group of Lebanon, to upgrade the Apapa Amusement Park in Apapa, Lagos State on a design, build, finance, operate and transfer basis.

The Concessionaire and its technical partners are to set up a one stop mixed use tourism cluster, comprising of hospitality, entertainment, leisure and amusement facilities within the Park. The Project shall comprise of but not limited to: Rides, Adult Games, Junior Games, Children Games, Kart Racing, Gardens, Restaurant and Coffee Shop, Snack Bars, Passages, Fountain and Seating Area, First Aid, Parking Area and Conveniences

The Apapa Amusement Park comprise a portion of prime land situate at Apapa covering an approximated area of 7.709 acres. The concession is for a period of 20 years, renewable and the total cost of the upgrade and remodeling is approximately N1,520,000,000. Construction period is estimated to cover 18 months with official commissioning scheduled for April, 2015.
